READY! for Kindergarten® - A Proven Program Empowering Parents & Caregivers
The READY! for Kindergarten® school readiness program empowers parents to succeed in their role as children’s first and most influential teachers. READY! provides tools and activities to optimize the natural curiosity of children and to nurture learning & development.
For more than 20 years, READY! for Kindergarten® has helped parents prepare their child from birth to age five for a successful kindergarten experience. The program is designed around three keys to success: Age Level Targets, Training, and Tools to Play with a Purpose making learning at home fun and effective. READY! is a parent workshop series in which parents attend three 90-minute workshops throughout the year specific to their child’s age to learn new skills, fun activities, and helpful tips to nurture their child’s development.
Targets - 26 research based Age Level Targets parents and caregivers aim for to support their child's growth.
Training - Parents/caregivers attend 3 READY! for Kindergarten age-level workshops. These 90 minute workshops teach families helpful tips to nuture early literacy, math, and social/emotional development skills.
Tools - With each READY! for Kindergarten workshop, parents/caregivers receive high-quality take home materials and toys - such as puzzles, books, magnetic letters, matching games - to work on these developmental skills.
We offer in-person workshops throughout the school year in collaboration with Durango School District Early Childhood Programs.
We also offer E-Learning workshops for parents to complete in the comfort of their own home at their convience. All E-Learning workshops are available in both English and Spanish.
