Thank you for your interest in the READY! for the kindergarten program. White River is excited to be able to offer this series of early learning opportunities for the families in our community.
We began READY! for Kindergarten in the Spring of 2010. Since then we have had hundreds of families participate in READY! and are excited to help you get your child ready for kindergarten. At this time we are able to offer a 4/5-year-old series of classes in Fall/Winter/Spring, a 3/4-year-old workshop offered in Fall/Winter/Spring, and a 2/3-year-old workshop offered in Fall/Winter/Spring. We would like to have families commit to coming to all three classes in the series to get the most from the program for your child and family.
Please register for the online workshop and complete BEFORE December 4th. As of now, all workshops will be held online. All of our classes are grant funded and offered at no cost to families, staff, or students who are in the White River School District. Once you have completed registration, please contact Courtney Calkins at (360) 829-3957 or email: ccalkins@whiteriver.wednet.edu in order to pick up your child's learning kit. You will learn about how to use these materials during your workshop.
