Welcome to South Kitsap School District's READY! for KINDERGARTEN program!
Any parent, guardian, or childcare provider living within the boundaries of South Kitsap School District can attend this FREE training. Families outside of South Kitsap, please check the Ready! for Kindergarten website for the program nearest you!
Due to recent changes, we have had to make the difficult decision to put our in-person workshops on hold for the 2025-2026 year. We WILL, however, still be offering the virtual core workshops! The Social-Emotional workshops for our 3-4 and 4-5 year olds, though limited, will remain in person!
Virtual workshops will continue to be available in both English and Spanish.
Workshop Dates:
Fall registration/workshop begins Sept. 4, 2025 and will end on Oct. 4, 2025
Winter registration/workshop begins Dec. 19, 2025 and will end on Jan. 31, 2026
Spring registration/workshop begins Mar. 25, 2026 and will end on Apr. 25, 2026
Available tool pick-up dates will be listed on the end-of-course survey once you have finished. We will offer at least two dates for tool pick-up the week following the end of each registration window.
SEL 3-4 registration will open Oct. 13, and the workshop will be held in-person on Nov. 13
SEL 4-5 registration will open Apr. 7, and the workshop will be held in-person on May 7

Our READY! workshops provide age-appropriate targets and training in the areas of language and literacy, math and reasoning, and social-emotional understanding. Purposeful play and 20 minutes of daily read-aloud make a difference that lasts a lifetime.
What does South Kitsap's Ready! for Kindergarten program offer our families?
We offer three sessions per year (Fall, Winter, and Spring). All workshops are age-specific, and are offered in 0-1, 1-2, 2-3, 3-4, and 4-5 groupings.
Our CORE Fall, Winter, Spring, and both SEL workshops each provide unique tools and information every session that build the foundation to help your child feel confidant and READY! for Kindergarten.
